It Started With “Let’s Do It.”
Sticky Chikky started in 2019, in my kitchen.
For over a decade I'd built and scaled a powersports company. I'm proud of what we built, but I learned firsthand what complexity costs. It was big, layered, and heavy to run. When I started thinking about what came next, I knew I wanted the opposite. Something simple. Something that could scale without getting complicated.
So I kept it to one idea, done right: one crave-worthy dish, fresh ingredients, real flavor, no shortcuts. A model clean enough to run well and simple enough to grow. What started as Sunday recipe experiments turned into something I couldn't stop thinking about.
When I brought the idea to my dad, Jimmy, he didn't hesitate. “Let’s do it.”
We opened the first store to a response we never saw coming. Jimmy would stand in that kitchen and say he couldn't believe how much people loved Sticky Chikky. Two weeks later, on July 4th, 2024, he passed away in a motorcycle accident.
I kept going. Because that’s what he’d have wanted, and because what we started was bigger than any one moment. With my partners Brad Williamson and Ian Diaz, Sticky Chikky grew from an idea in a home kitchen into a company built to last.

The mission hasn’t changed.
Serve it fresh. Build it right. Keep moving forward.
